The Michigan State Bar Foundation (MSBF) has released its 2025 MSBF Annual Report, highlighting the Foundation’s role as Michigan’s largest funder of civil legal aid and its responsibilities as a statewide administrator of critical funding that supports access to justice.
The report underscores the Foundation’s leadership and stewardship of essential resources, as well as its strategic investments to strengthen Michigan’s civil legal aid infrastructure. Through its grantmaking and program administration, MSBF supports nonprofit legal aid providers across the state, helping ensure that thousands of low-income families have access to legal assistance.
“We are proud to be entrusted with administering critical funds that support civil legal aid programs throughout the state,” said Jennifer Bentley, executive director of the Foundation. “These resources make it possible for nonprofit legal aid programs to provide a range of legal services to our low-income neighbors who are navigating legal challenges.”
