The Michigan State Bar Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of two key leadership positions: Mary Gladstone-Highland, MPA, as the Director of Grants and Yvonne Fleener, MPA, as the Director of Development. Their extensive experience in the nonprofit sector will be instrumental in driving the Foundation’s initiatives and enhancing its commitment to access to justice for all.
Mary Gladstone-Highland leads the Foundation’s strategic, data-informed grantmaking efforts to support civil legal aid and justice initiatives across Michigan. With more than 19 years in nonprofit strategy and evaluation, Mary is nationally recognized for her thoughtful leadership and practical approach to strengthening the nonprofit sector.
Yvonne Fleener oversees the Foundation’s fundraising and communication strategies, including the Access to Justice Campaign and the Fellows Program. She brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience and has guided nonprofits in developing strategies for systemic change and sustainability on both national and regional levels.

The Michigan State Bar Foundation, established in 1947, provides leadership and grants to improve the administration of justice and increase access to justice for all in the civil legal system.
