The Michigan State Bar Foundation has released its 2022 Grantee Services Report to highlight the impact of their investments in civil legal aid throughout Michigan.
With over 1.67 million low-income residents eligible for legal aid, the report details Michigan’s current legal aid infrastructure and features:
· Real life success stories and outcomes achieved
· Services provided by legal aid organizations
· Investments made by the Foundation to answer the critical needs of low-income populations
The Foundation is pleased to share this report about the work of our grantees,” shared Jennifer Bentley, Executive Director of the Foundation. “As we are emerging from the economic aftermath of a global pandemic, the work of legal aid remains vital to improve the lives of thousands of families each year.”
The Grantee Services Report is produced annually by the Michigan State Bar Foundation.
