The Foundation funds annual operating grants for four statewide and six regional programs which support a full range of civil legal services for low-income households.

Project Grants

The Foundation also funds innovative projects that improve the administration of justice by providing civil legal aid for low-income households. Please review the AOJ Grant Instruction and Criteria.  You can also preview the grant application.

How to Apply

MSBF accepts all grants through our online grant portal.  To apply for a grant, you must request access from MSBF at least one week in advance of the deadline. Please send an email requesting access, along with a brief description or summary of your proposed project, to grants@msbf.org.
